Bon je suis en train de voir ça (c'est un peu tendu niveau timing et €) , mais madame m'a fait une remarque plutôt pertinente :

C'est les JO à Londres cette année (fin juillet) qui vont certainement être dans le dernier rush , ça risque d'être chaud autour de Londres pour les B&B quand même

It would be best to book in advance because of the Olympics.

Go to www.booking.com and enter the date and location (Enfield) to see what is available and make a booking.

There's a Premier Inn about 3 miles away from Enfield in Waltham Abbey which is basic but clean usually. A little more expensive but better quality are the "Marriott" hotels. There's Cheshunt Marriott Hotel and Waltham Abbey Marriott Hotel which I have stayed at myself and it was very good.

There's normally a meet at a country Pub called "The Goat" the previous afternoon/evening with a cruise that's worth going to. Watch out for it being mentioned on the forum closer to the time.
